The guy I got the handguns from called to see if I wanted two more. I asked what he had and he told me a 1903 A3 and a Remington Nylon 66 Mohawk Brown. He said the bolt wouldn't go all the way in but could be used for parts and the 66 needed a bolt handle. The bad news I think is the 1903 is a National Ordinance but it did come with a bayonet..From the info I could gather they were a cobbed together gun...is that true and is it safe to shoot...it looks to be in pretty good shape..the good news I paid $75 for both..

Unless you have really fallen in love with them. Put them on the auction, for a quick profit. Sell them on a "AS IS", basis. Let the winning buyer(s), pay the gunsmith.
Do the numbers match the 03A3, and is the serial # greater than 800,000? http://m1903.com/03rcvrfail/ An unfitted parts gun might be very unsafe to shoot. Head space check is cheap insurance.

R-S's advice is sound; you could probably get more for the parts, but most of us would have to pay a gunsmith to take it apart. You may not want to fool with that.

EDIT: Some bayonets were made with a 10" blade, some were longer & were cut down to 10". Without photos, no opinion.
