What if all other countries abruptly stopped selling the U.S. Oil Company's any Crude oil.

What would happen?

How long before we would be shut down?

How much do we have in reserve?

I am confused at times.
We park on driveways
and
drive on parkways.

We'd operate for about 60-90 days at our current usage levels on the 500 million or so barrels in the Federal Reserve.

However, long before then you'd see insane prices and rationing at the pumps. (i.e. 3-4 hour lines to buy 10 gallons for $6-15 a gallon) It'd make the mess of the early and late 70s prices and rationing seem like a pleasant dream.

Well, for one thing, those old rusty pup-jacks in East Texas would be rocking away, and my royalties would be rolling in again.

Ditto, my granddad's wells in Southern Illinois have been idle for seven years now. I wouldn't mind paying $2/gallon if we were producing our own and keeping money out of these Arab countries that keep funding and breeding terrorists.

LOL, what is natural gas going for? Has it gone up in price or has it been stable. I'm guessing we're getting that locally. Pa's producing his own too.[;)]

I have no clue what natural gas is going for in Charleston, but I'm starting not to care as long as I can keep the money out of middle eastern hands.

'Smoke, doesn't Brazil run a lot of biomass fuel like gasahol or straight ethanol made from corn or sugar cane? I seem to remember that being the main source of vehicle fuel there.
