Well I am headed off to Scottsdale Arizona for this coming 4th of July. Anybody in this area?

Dry heat my *! Everyone has a yard, a pool, and lives in a lake community, the f***ing real estate developers are making this place nearly unbearable. Between the heat, the concrete, and the humidity, Phoenix creates some of its own weather changes[:0]

Man, I am almost afraid to come out, wish me luck. I have never been out west before so this is a first.

You being from IN it's going to take a while getting acclimated. The heat can be a killer, take bottled water with you every place, and keep extras in your vehicle, even if it's a rental. Make sure your cell is working OK, also.
I love that phrase. Be sure to pay attention to the asphalt as you walk through it, yes through it. The first time you put a foot down on asphalt in the middle day and watch it sink in about 1/2" you'll start paying attention to shadows and where you get some relief... besides the hotel pool and bar of course! Be sure to carry a bottle of water with you. After a couple of days of 112 degrees, you'll even be convinved that 90 degress at 7:00AM is cool.
It's not that bad, really [;)], you just need to be a little prepared, that's all. [:D]

[8D]--Yo carson0384, Arizona is WEST of you ,but not WEST, I'M west in CALIFORNIA, right now it's 78 degrees at 1400 hrs. no humidity. Tomorrow I'm shooting in a 68 degree/10% humidity environment--[:p][:p][:p][:D]
