It weighs exactly the same as my Baby Browning 25 ACP.
God-forbid if I were to have to pull it out, would it intimidate someone?
Mini-guns for carry ? Sounds good to me.

Them stocks' "bloodwood"; they're not stained, they're that color all the way through.
.44 mags in a 4" N frame are a yawn, but corbon in this thing'll get me flinching by the second mag. It tends to pinch the trigger finger, and even with the skateboard tape on the front strap it trys real hard to wander out of my grip.
It goes into 2 1/2" standing w/o support at 25; can't complain.
Whatcha got there Mr. O? A real beaut! Them there grips sure are purdy.
Colt Pocket Nine. Ever try to find a set of grips for one?
The stocks (plus a walnut set) were made by a friend who is a wood working hobbyist, but never made anything for a firearm before. I basically got two sets of squarish semi-fit blanks and had to rasp & sand 'em down to look like this. That bloodwood is hard as a rock! I even bought a new rasp to attack it and it barely took any material off.

That's what MY first thought was.

I absolutely love my P3AT. However I worry about it's "scary" factor.

Did you ever see the episode of M*A*S*H where Frank, Hawkeye, BJ and Klinger (can't remember if Radar was still on) had to take a trip to the enemy's side, and Hotlips gave Frank an itsy-bitsy, teenie-weenie gun for "protection?"
The Chinese officer just started laughing his @$$ off when he saw it, saying, "What the hell is that?"

I think any object that has the ability to inject a piece of lead into your body has a "scary" factor to it.[:D]
