Sales to California

All of the delears that have so proudly declared you will no longer sell to anyone in California should be very proud. You are doing exactly what was intended. The goal of the new law is not to protect the locals. It is to ad another layer of nonsence to the purchase of firearms in CA. If you look at it objectively you will begin to see just how brillant this was. The afore mentioned dealers are proof that the scheme is working. Ca is the single largest market in the US for firearms. So let the lawmakers in Ca take an action that will cause you the retailer to deside on your own to refuse to sell to this huge market. Get the fish hook out of your jaw and wake up. If you want to be pro active then do something intellengant. SELL GUNS IN CALIFORNIA!!! Every FFL in the US is at risk. These scheems that hatch in CA often spread to other states after all the kinks are worked out here. We will either prosper together or we will all fade into history together. Some of you need to stop shooting holes in the bottom of the boat.

Why do so many sellers refuse to sell to CA? I know we live in a communist state but why are you taking it out on us? I swear, it seems like every gun I want to bid on(PERFECTLY LEGAL GUNS IN CA) the seller says "No CA Sales". Seems like a stupid business practice to me. You are cutting oiut thousands of potential bidders when you do that. Quit being so freaking paranoid...I have a storefront FFL dealer who accepts guns from gunbroker auctions.

I am about ready to give up on gunbroker if this keeps happening.

Thanks for letting me vent, but I am irritated.

Does anyone know exactly what the CA law is? I understand it's illegal to buy certain items after Jan '03 but what I need to know is can someone buy my auction item if he lives in CA? is it his responsiblity or mine??
    Thanks

OK, I understand that many sellers out there hate our State and I agree our senators are piles of dung, and our republican governor is not a republican...But why take it out on us? I mean, there are many of you out of State folks who have sold me stuff here in California, Mini 14's, Pistols, SKS's, etc., but for every 2 that do sell, there are 5 that just won't. It seems as though they are blaming us, the NRA members of CA that write letters to our congressmen & Senators, the ones standing alone as our brothers in other States have abandoned us...I feel like the 101st at Bastogne, nobody wants to help, except Patton...But George S. Patton is dead, and our brothers have left us to die. If I lived in another State with good laws, I would flood guns to legal and law abiding gun owners in California, to let these jerks in Sacramento know that stupid laws will not keep the 2nd amendment down...Look at what they have done to our brothers & sisters in England & Australia...to me, it's like murder...I am begging you, my fellow Americans, my fellow Veterans, my friends, don't let us die out here...[:(]

At least, if you won't sell to California, make it clear on your ad, some do, but most don't...I would have paid thousands of dollars, only to find out someone had a chip on their shoulder about my COMMIE state...jeez man, let's stick together, if you let these pukes do this to us in CA, you'll be next...let's make the memories of fellow gun lovers & Californian's RONALD REAGAN, CHUCK HESTON & GEORGE S. PATTON PROUD, Let's stick together!

I wouldn't want to sell a gun sling to cali. FFL's are already under attack. Local guy here is getting visits, he's a straight shooter. Cali needs to help itself first. NJ, NY, CT screw them too. And kinda illinois.

If you want to make a pitch that works try...sell to california so we quit moving out of state and jacking up the price of land for you once rural people.

Wouldn't it be better to hold the citizens of California accountable for letting it happen and move to a state where folks think with both sides of their brain rather than just the "left" hemisphere?

I feel for you, but they have made it where it's more trouble than it's worth to deal with your states regulations, and you need to be preaching to the voters in your state rather than attacking folks who had nothing to do with it.

Who are you trying to complain to? Are you trying to get the dealers to change their minds? If so you need to go talk to THEM. Posting here has no effect because very few if any dealers are on this board. If you want to know about CA sales here is a short list of the DAILY people complaining about the dealers who are NOT on this board, http://forums.gunbroker.com/search.asp?mode=DoIt

If you are here to hang out and chat stick around. If you want to complain to the dealers go complain to them.

Since this board has nothing to do with the auction side and complaining about auction side stuff it "not allowed" I would make one CA sticky post and lock all of these daily complain about dealers who are not on this board posts.

Wow buddy...I didn't cause your agony. You and others like you did...You sat in you arm chair sipping your beer or wine and let it happen to yourself, so sit there and shut up. Or change the commie laws in your state so you don't have to sit and complain to me about things you let happen. I know for fact that the commie laws you live with wouldn't go over here WHERE I LIVE without a fight...I haven't seen a fight there for gun rights...In fact the gays fight harder for their freedom than the so called tough guys that are pro 2nd amendment in your state

If you want MY HELP in fighting your fights... At least fight for yourself as much as the gay bobs do in your state for their freedom... You haven't yet... So are you less of a man than a homosexual...Because you won't fight as much as one...
By the way this is how I view you guys in commiefornia that want gun rights. But won't fight for them JMO

And don't ever blame others for not "dealing with Ca. PETA regs" when you didn't deal with it before it was a problem. We/I are not penalizing you. You penalized yourself by not fighting for your freedom...That even the gay bobs are willing to fight for

You want the rest of the country to come fight for you...Buddy YOU BETTER COME TO THE FIGHT YOURSELF. You all stayed home when you had a chance before it became a problem...I won't fight your fight you chickened out of...

Again this is all my opinion and I am entitled to it

When you have enough nuts to, at the very minimum to fight for your rights as much as a transvestite is willing to fight for his/hers...Then come tell me to fight for you... Or go back to sticking your head in the sand like you have in the past...

Again this is just my opinion...

BTW if you have anything more to say e-mail me so I can really tell you what you are

AND FURTHER MORE..IF I HURT YOUR FEELINGS...TOUGH, it seems like this thread same is made here at least 4 times a week. And everyone of you guys that post it, cries like a boob and e-mail me saying I hurt their dainty feelings by telling them the truth. Get over it and grow up

You know what the funny thing is, If the gun advocates of cali. would start the fight..Instead of sitting in their lazy boy asking me to fight their fights so they can watch it on the boob tube...I, and like minded people would come running to the fight...

But that has not happened, and is doubtful you ever will...And I was serious when I said that the gay community fights more than the gun advocates do. And by the way, all they are asking for is to be able to have a piece of paper, and pay a state tax, (that means nothing) for love. Which by the way means nothing to God. If God is going to recognize their love for each other. It won't matter to him/her if the state collected a tax for it and issued a piece of paper saying they paid the states "love" tax..

So if you want my help in fighting your fight, lead the way. Because I'm not going to fight it, when you sit and watch it on the boob tube..

I bet most that refuse to sell to Cali here, are doing so, to make you start fighting for your rights. And would go through the extra steps it takes to sell there...If only you'd take an extra step yourself...And start fighting for your rights..God only helps those who helps themselves...I feel the same way as he does....I will help those I feel are worthy of my help. But I won't do it for them while they watch me do it

So it boils down to one thing in my opinion. If you want it changed, Start changing it on your end, and quite asking us/me to change it on our/my end.. Because the only way I'll fight for you, is if you untie my hands so I can...Not let them be tied while you do nothing to prevent it

The moment of truth is at your hands...Fight, and I'll run to help you...Or don't and except the consequences of your lack of actions. The choice is yours and it's a simple one. Choose wisely

BTW way. My boat has no holes in it. I fought off the azzes that where trying to sink mine. To bad you didn't and now you going down with a sinking ship. Because you were to chicken to stop them from filling YOU BOAT (not mine) full of holes JMO

Also, You might want to go back to third grade and learn how to write with paragraphs so it is easier to read what your trying (unsuccessfully) to write

We've heard you crybabies so many times that we consider your are taking our advice. "Just pissin' up a rope". The way I look at it, if I send guns to Kalifornia, by the CA DOJ rules, then I am giving in to their communist tactics. Your whining has no effect on me, so take it where you ought to take it, to your fellow California citizens.

Here is one sellers position on selling to Californians.

    Description for Item # 119330898

ATTENTION: IF YOU RESIDE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DO NOT BID ON THIS AUCTION. YOUR BID WILL NOT BE HONORED.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ADAMS GUN EMPORIUM, LLC HAS CEASED DELIVERY OF ALL FIREARMS, FIREARMS PARTS AND AMMUNITION TO ALL POLICE DEPARTMENTS, POLICE OFFICERS AND RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE RESIDENTS OF, WHAT HAS BECOME THE PEOPLES REPUBLIK of KALIFORNIA, BECOME ANGRY ENOUGH, AND GROW ENOUGH COURAGE, TO REMOVE FROM OFFICE THE SOCIALIST POLITICIANS WHO PASSED SECTIONS 12072(F)(1) & 12083(C)(1) OF THE CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE INTO LAW AND THE GOVERNATOR WHO ALLOWED IT TO BECOME LAW, I SHALL NOT HONOR ANY FURTHER BIDS FROM THE RESIDENTS OF THE PEOPLES REPUBLIK of KALIFORNIA. THIS SHALL ALSO APPLY TO CURIO & RELICS (03) FIREARMS AND LICENSEES. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

I BELIEVE THAT THESE LAWS VIOLATE THE COMMERCE AND EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSES OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, AND ARE CLEARLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL. I REFUSE TO BE KALIFORNIKATED BY YOUR SOCIALIST POLITICAL HACKS. DON'T LIKE MY ATTITUDE, THEN GET BUSY RAISIN' H__L WITH THE SOCIALIST BENT POLITICAL TRAITORS WHO HAVE VIOLATED THEIR OATH OF OFFICE TO PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THESE UNITED STATES, AND WHO VOTED FOR THIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL SET OF LAWS. INSIST, AS IS YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES, AND IN THE STRONGEST TERMS, THAT THEY REPEAL THESE ABOMINABLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL STATUTES BEFORE IT BECOMES NECESSARY FOR THE GOOD CITIZENS OF CALIFORNIA TO DO SO BY FORCE OF ARMS. TO DO LESS, CONSTITUTES MORAL COWARDICE IN THE FACE OF SOCIALIST OPPRESSION.
