Seems Auto-Ordnance is making the .30 cal carbine with a MSRP of only $610....not bad.

It must take military mags, it comes with a 15 rounder that would be illegal to manufacture now.

    I want one!!

Nice looking rifle. What's with the (1) year warranty though[?]

Kahr is doing some good things with the Auto Ord product line. I do wish they'd bring back the .45 1911 "Pit Bull" though. I've always wanted one of those if I could ever find one that worked. Maybe I should buy an old one at a gun show and send it back to Kahr for a going over and tune up? [:D]

Sadly, while they advertise full auto versions of the Thompson 1927 and the M1 -- neither is for sale or in current production from them.

It's a trim looking M1 carbine, and by the time you get a discount from the MSRP, maybe a decent deal for a new gun. Of course, getting a "find" of a vintage example at a gun show might be more fun for some of us.

I would rather have a used G.I. that has some nostalgic value.

For that price, I'd rather have something with a little more punch.

I have to agree. For about the same money, you can buy a decent original (albeit with import markings) that, unlike a repro, will only go up in value.
