The sun is our closest star, quite a bit larger than earth, you could fit thousands of planet earths inside the sun. Looking up at a clear sky at night you see about 2000 stars with the naked eye, some smaller and some larger than the sun. The reason they look so small is second closest star, Proxima Centauri is 4.3 light years away. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second to attempt perspective.
The largest known star, VY Canis, over 1000 times larger than our sun and is around 5000 light years away.
The earth would be a speck beside it. God has orchestrated the Universe so this speck, planet earth, the only part of the solar system that can sustain life, and that my friends is very special indeed.
