I'm going through a custody battle and found a referance to "DF FTA", it's in a decripition of a warrant. X's boyfriend, just wondering what it means. TIA.

FTA is a term commonly used for a "Fail to Appear" warrant. In some states, this is also a form of Contempt. In Virginia (my state) for example, the Warrant would read 'Show cause to answer why he should not be held in Contempt for his willful failure to appear'.
The DF COULD refer to Domestic/Family, which would indicate which court they failed to appear in. That part is just a guess.
