Yep, I think he's gone for good.
Welfare, my barn cat, has been missing for 3 days.
he normally runs around outside all day and comes in the house at night.
hope a cyote didn't get him.[:(]

ole scruffy, the barn dog, is still in a cast so he can't run down any yotes right now. I hear them out there but haven't seen em yet.
might have to bait 'em in and eliminate them in Welfare's memory.

Sorry to hear about "Welfare". Are you sure he's not just out "cattin'" around? I've heard even "fixed" cats will sometime get the urge.

Our cat was gone for 2 weeks.
    She came home last Friday.
Slimmer than she was but in good shape.
I also figured she was coyote food.
The other cat has been gone for as long as 5 days at a time and came back OK.
Don't give up him it yet.
    Maybe he's just cattin around.

Have one that never comes in, matter of fact will flat run if I go outside. But this cat has me well trained.

I have a driveway Alarm out by the Barn. The cat sets it off by walking by. Then sits in the Middle of the drive till I get its food dish and refill it. After I go in it comes up and eats.

Well have not seen it for a few days. Couple of hours ago the alarm went off and there she sat.
