3 hrs. from being an empty nester

We deliver our younger son into the hands of the USAF at 5:00...Proud, happy, sad, proud, excited, proud.....Still,.....he's outa my hair (and stuff) for 4 yrs.!! Did I say I'm proud?

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    DWS....yep, that's what I thought the last couple times he moved out...He goes to Texas for basic then Maryland for schooling in aircraft metal tech...(he was a machinist)...He'll adapt...He isn't dumb, just ornery, and they'll fix that pronto!!!!

    Tap, they may get out of our hair, but never out of our minds, and worry,, ya cant live long enough to quit worrying about your kids..

    Just hope and pray, and keep the chin up,, most turn out well..

    Classic, that goes without saying...concern is always there, but worrying just makes us old(er)..[;)]...He'll do fine...We just went over AR-15 breakdown again[:D]....At least he has an edge in the small arms department...We're off...wish him well....and thanks....Durn, I'm gonna cry, I just know it!!!!

    I'm about 3 YEARS from being an empty-nester, and I sometimes cry just thinking about it!
