Who's doing the traditional New Year's Day meal tomorrow? After I eat the Hoppin' John and cabbage that the wife is cooking, should be kinda smelly around here! Gonna do a deer roast instead of the pork though.

Got mine a soakin Mat. Goin in the pot with a HUGE ham-bone, from the SMITHFIELD i cooked today!!! Y'all R welcome to stop-in for a bowl, and a beer!![^]
We went to a specialty meat store in St Paul and bought a 5-lb black angus prime rib roast. We all had about 18-oz of prime rib, mashed taters and corn. [:p]

Lobster, Crab, Turkey, and fresh cut vegies. My special home make potato salad chips and dip. 6 types of sliced cheese, home made cole slaw. Little smokies w/ toothpicks stuck in them, 3 bean salad, and some side items the wife is fix'n now.
Gonna take 9 weeks to work this meal off!! [:D][:D][}:)][:D][:D]
Corned beef, cabbage, and taters
Stuffed pork chopped
Jumbo shrimped in sweet and spicy chili sauce
Fried lumpia
DSM
Veggie tray and dips, then
The remains of the Christmas Ham go in the pot with Black-Eyed Peas,
Onions, Garlic, Thyme, Chicken stock, (Emeril's Recipe)
Then More Beer
FOOTBALL!
Going to take advantage of some of it tonight.
