as a kid my dad always carried a H-D military 22 that i now have stashed away for many years...AND... today i just traded for one the same in as new condition that has spent last 35 tears in a safety deposit box.....when i was fifteen we went over east to check cattle & they were streaming out the west side of pasture while car was parked on east side & three bozos were shooting quail just inside fence....we stopped & dad jumped fence & proceeded to chew * when one of them started to raise shotgun...i reached in a & cocked the H-D & pointed at the guys face & he looked past dad & lowered shotgun ...when dad came back to car it was back on seat...never told that story to anyone for 50 years......its been a good day
