It would have to come from the Factory with all the Bell's and Whistles to be worth a fraction of what It is being listed at.

Worth more than 1/3, but less than asking IMO. An original car would likely bring $200,000 but it would have to be perfect. A clone like this maybe $40,000 - $50,000. But I've been surprised before.

The MoPar cross-ram dual 4 barrel intake is the coolest thing ever on a car.

The car didnt have any bells and whistles from the factory. Not even a motor, trannny, rear end or seats.[;)]

Like many of us, Dave could write a check. But how to find the time to enjoy it!

Roger that! But, on the bright side, you could park it right out front on the hunting lease land all day and not worry. Heck, when you got back to it in the evening, someone may have even left ya a care package of some groceries in the seat![:p][^]

I called it a clone. I know this is not an original car. The auction text makes that clear. An original A990 (code for a Hemi race Dart) would bring 200K or more as I said earlier. Most had the Torqueflite trans for consistency. This is pretty much what they looked like from the factory, thought. Bare interior, no comfort items, stripped down. Pure race car.

Oh, on the intake, I was referring to the short cross ram seen on the Race Hemis and the 413 and 426 Max Wedges. The earlier Chrysler long ram 413 is interesting looking (with the carbs way out past the valve covers) but were not really high performance.

Here's the 413 version used 1962-63. In 1964 and 65 it was bumped to 426 CID. Rated at 425 HP.

Nice clone, it's probably not overpriced for the parts and the work that went into it. A friend of mine owns an original 68' Hemi Dart it was one of the cars featured at Mopars in the Park in Farmington, Mn. this summer. That car would go for north of 1/4 million if sold.
It's to bad the car hasn't been run down the strip (the Clone).Dave
