Anyone know of any good books along the lines of One Second After?
Thanks!

I haven't read one second after yet but from what I have heard it might be similar to Alas Babylon.

Lucifers Hammer. One of the best Ive ever read. written in the 70's so its a little dated but still very good.

"A gift upon the shore" is another good one too.

"Earth Abides" is also very very good.

If you need to know the writters names, you'll have to wait till I get home....Im bad a remembering names!![:0]

EDIT: Alas Babylon is a good one too, it is also very dated (written in 1949)but still good.

"The last Ship" is a very long read, but for you navy guys....you'll love it!!!! Good book.

Warday by Streiber & Kunetka. Two writers traveling across the country (or countries) researching what has developed in the year since a limited nuclear war. Published in 1984, still a good read.
