Remington sent me a check

for the sum of $477.81[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

oh, & did I say [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

The amount covered was for Purchase price, tax, shipping, transfer fee, & $2.00 phone call to NCIS(or whomever).

I am happy they FINALLY made this right after almost 6mths.

In the future, if Remington makes the best, greatest, doubled scope, heat seeking, triple lasered gun.......They won't ever see one red cent from me.[^](is their a face for sticking your nose in the air?)

For future reference, to anyone having any problems like I have, steer clear of anyone in customer service as soon as you have the slightest smell of BS.

I talked to Steve Jackson's secretary on the phone and she got the ball rolling to resolve the BS they had put me through all those months.

Thank you, Jennifer Bullins!![^][:X]

So are you going to spend new money on a new Savage or Ruger that you could pick up with that amount or something else?

I am just glad that this was not a dangerous hunt.

I guess blaser and several thousand is a wise investment if

    Some large animal is involved

But I'm glad you finally got this resolved. Remington should have fixed it the first week. It's a damn shame the company has fallen that far.

    Good for you!

I wish they would have sent me checks for the crappy 522 Vipers I owned. All they told me was, "We no longer support the 522 with repairs or parts."

Maybe Remington is finally taking a page out of Daisy's book and doing as Daisy did with their crappy little Walmart .22. Daisy was so embarrassed about making that piece of crap that they bought back every one of them that was sent back for repairs.

Last 2 new Remington rifles l bought were defective. Both 700s. hi -dollar ones too. A 700VS and a 12R 700. Crooked/mis-spaced scope holes on both. Both were repaired, then Kasey made them go away [;)]

Remington Rule Number 0ne--NEVER buy a NEW Remington. Used Only.
When l buy a Remington rifle off GB it gets booked in to Kenny Jarrett at Jarrett Rifles. He checks it out first.

GB Rule Number One--Never Never Ever buy one listed ''AS-IS''[^]

If they say "yes, it is a free gun" are you going to retract the "idiots" moniker?

Got a answer on the "extra" gun they sent me after they paid me for it.

My FFL said ,"Yes, they WANT it back ASAP!"
    He already sent it back.
