Internal Army Poll: Only 26% of Officers Say Army Headed in Right Direction--'Political Correctness' Cited
By Patrick Burke
CNSNews.com) - Is the U.S. Army headed in the right direction?

An internal Army survey that was conducted in 2011 and published this year discovered that only 26 percent of active-duty Army officers say yes--and that one of the two main themes cited by those who say no is that the Army is now adversely impacted by "political correctness" imposed by both outside policymakers and senior Army leaders.

The 26 percent who said the Army was headed in the right direction in 2011 was the lowest percentage who gave that response since the Army began conducting this survey in 2005. It was also significant drop from the 33 percent who had said the Army was heading in the right direction in 2010.

In the 2011 survey, in contrast to the 26 percent who said the Army was heading in the right direction, 38 percent said it was headed in the wrong direction and another 36 percent remained neutral on the topic, neither agreeing nor disagreeing that the army is heading in the right direction.

They can't agree which way to the chow hall?

Some say it's over by the px.

Still others say it's down by the base theater.

Whoever shall lead them in the right direction to the chow hall?

Well, it's apparently become an Army that is too PC to even make an Officer shave himself (as is required of all Officers), if the Officer is Islamic. What kind of a message does this send to the rank-and-file, who are expected to discipline themselves in the observation of standards? How about rainbow face-painting? Or cross-dressers in the inspection formation, wearing WAC uniforms? [:D][:D][xx(][xx(].

I for one think the murderer should not be allowed to wear the uniform again, and that's the message that should be sent to the troops.
    What's next?

Suggest the 6,000 are being politically correct by not offering a negative opinion. (?)

we are wastefully sacrificing the lives of our soldiers trying to make the enemy feel good and by following asinine rules of engagement ...i would wonder to hear a commander tell the troops to follow the mongol way to victory...after all isn't the intent for a final failed interaction an act of war...read The Lost Centuries by Sir John Glubb

Specialists (E-4s) know where the chow hall is better than anyone.
