On The History Channel last night: "The Epic History of Everyday Things" shows the origins & humorous re-enactments of things we use every day, like doorknobs, string, coffee, shoes, mirrors, cans, toilets and other stuff we all take for granted. Some of those things really had dark and dangerous origins!
It was a fascinating show. It's on again Saturday night, 12/10/11, at 10:00 PM and Sunday morning, 12/11/11, at 2:00 AM (Eastern times) so watch it or record it if you can!
