    i guess they poofed the cool one on the saiga 12 last night. it was a good thread.

    the 22 magnum rugers are going nutzo. i thought it was a piece of crap.

    whats the big deal?

    The big deal is that there is a Ruger Collectors forum and a respected collector only need say something positive about a Ruger firearm and the forum members go wild bidding against each other. Ruger collectors are passing the Colt collectors in the frenzied bidding wars.

    like a school of fish! yikes!!! all i can think of when i visualize a 12/22 magnum is a round failing to be set into the chamber. A jam , man!

    That just blows my mind. I bet he's fretting over the buyer backing out once he/she sobers up. That would be a mess.

    Nope. Especially if it's been converted. I guess you could always change it back. That thar auction was an anomoly though.

    I love my 10/22's and I love 22 mags. I have often thought a 10/22 mag would be a lot of fun to shoot. But at that price? No way. Question. If you can convert a 22 mag to a 17HMR, can you convert a 17HMR to a 22 mag simply by swithching barrels??
