They sent me a new gun around a month or 2 after they settled up with a check because they couldn't get me a new part or gun to replace mine.

My FFL has had the extra gun they sent me by mistake. He's had it for 6-7 months.

I saw him the other day and he said to come get your gun!

He said he's emailed & called for months trying to get the gun sent back and noone will call or email back.

I gave my FOID info to him and I'll pick it up tomorrow.

If the gun wasn't chambered in 7MM Rem Mag, I'd put it in the kids Christmas Give Away.[B)]

However, given the bullet size & that I'm badly bent, it's going on GB to pay for our Christmas gifts as soon as I get it.[:I]

I read BOTH of your previous threads...

    This is plum crazy!

I had a similar situation happen couple of years back over a Mod 27 6-1/2" in Nickle Plate...
Took S&W 7 months to finally get me a new gun back... They finally determined the frame was bent at the top strap.
The issue for me was the original gun could not be fixed and that particular series would not be run through for six months.
At least they paid the second FFL transfer AND sent me a nifty 'One Size Fits ALL' China Made S&W Ball Cap... [xx(]

I enjoy the new gun... But you'd think that customer service would take a bit more priority than it generally does...

NO Wonder, American Industry is losing market share...

    Geesh!!!

Going to get to work getting it listed.[^]
