Luther did say some things worth consideration, but in that case I think it was merely the brimstone in his intestines that prompted such a bolt of fire to belch from his *, however true the words are. you should also read his hitleresque rants about the jews, or, after stirring the peasantry to revolt, how he bellowed for them to be put down for revolting.
Luther himself did not bring people out of the dark ages. the Protestant movement was a long time coming, with scientific discoveries casting doubt on the veracity of the literal Word of God, the Enlightenment and Renaissance, and Wycliffe and Jan Huss were very much the forerunners of Luther.

That is another Luther quote I like, but while it is appropriate to use online, I wouldnt recommend using it in an email to your boss.
