I haven't had one this bad in a long time. I'm in the fetal position on my bed. My right eye is closed and constantly watering.

Hate to complain here with so many other members having much worse health issues than this. I?ve been suffering migraine headaches for over 30 years. They get more frequent and stronger as I get older. Just spent 3 days fighting one off (dizzy, tunnel vision, agitation, nausea) and getting over ~10 hours of the climaxing pain, vomiting, & aftermath. I can usually function through them until they get the best of me. Been using about every prescription med available with little to no success. Currently back on oral maxalt. My spouse is pushing me to try the Botox injections. Oh, and the Exederin ads are all lies lol!!

if a pressure change blows thru or a sinus migraine headache hits.. someimes within 2 hours it knocks me flat..tried everything OTC and by accident found a pill that simply makes it all go away...no drooling, no wobbly, it simply goes away...NOT for regular use ...just for severe hits ONLY.....FIORICET...acetaminophen, caffeine, butalbital.....addictive...just for the nasty ones...one prescription of 30 used over 11 years with 7 still left....

^^^Yep, Fioricet (or Fiorinal...has aspirin in lieu of acetaminophen). One with a Tylenol, ice pack on head/neck, dark room, and no sound can often help head off a "really bad one".

Prayers asked for all of you. I have only had 1 in my life. It was about 30 years ago and i still remember it and i have a really bad memory.

I went to the ER 2 times while i had the headache. The covers rustling sounded like an airplane taking off without hearing protection.

    Hope they get better.

Lisinopril? Not heard of that one, will have to look into it.
I have heard of the Fioricet, but you mention it's addictive. I get 2-4 a month and it seems to me like that would get me hooked!

When I was young and started to have them, OTC meds would keep everything in check. As I got older and progressed to RX meds, I've tried about every oral pill available that my insurance would cover (imitrex, maxalt, treximet, etc). Even tried a couple of the nasal sprays. My doctor is considering the injection pen next. I've had many scans & tests, seen a couple specialists, and spent a ton of time & money trying to get under control. Worst part is, no one can tell me what is causing them. Always hear that I am healthy and nothing showing up.

I'm also looking into this, but insurance won't cover.
