Is what happens when a home owner gets involved with construction involving just one stair 1800 lb case[:D] on the 3dr floor. We fought all day to get this thing rigged with a chain hoists to get it into place. Crane and Gradal are out. Plan B. Works! Until The homeowner wants the Main wall support 8x12 replaced with a 24'steel tube!

Aren't there any engineering specs for support and attachment? How do you change these in process?
There are. What we are adding would be and "Over build" from the original spec. It Worked out good today we were able rack everything back in place with a few weld tricks. My German Co-worker is a smart cookie, That wall is as flat as a pancake and dead plumb.
