I've had cats, squirrels, stray dogs, crows, vultures even the neighbors sleepwalking son on my porch. Now I've got a peacock out there.

What's next, dancing Russians?

I hope he doesn't stick around too long, they are very annoying birds.

    Great birds...

People are keeping the now as part ornamental live lawn art - part pet - and part guardian animal / livestock...

Many are - can be an attractive bird.

You going to watch him - run him off - adopt him - feed him - hunt down and eat him (Fried chicken style)

Fill us in with some more detail please.

Makaila has been threatening to buy a few for the yard.

There's no doubt that it's somebody's pet, so I don't kill it. If you want to see if he'll stick around for you, feed him. They do make great alarm systems. By the way that is the only time that they are annoying, it is when they're afraid and wants to warn everybody that something is around that shouldn't be there

Annoying critters, but good table fare.

Fella only stuck around for a few minutes.
Westar, power company, has crews going around trimming trees. The truck that stopped out front sceered him off.

Pretty sure he belongs to the neighbor just up the street. They've got a bunch of chickens and a couple of ducks.

Just kinda startled me. I heard something on the front porch and when I went to look, there he was perched on the railing like he owned it.

You might have her research peacocks and talk to folks who have them.
Jeff at work has two males and has mentioned several times they tend to be aggressive. His are at least.

A neighbor of a friend had one.
He thought it was a neat thing like you do when it came to visit him.
Up until he walked out and it was on top of his brand new SUV.
The neighbor took care of the vehicle and the peacock.

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
