And I thought this lot was high at 19K, it ended at 47K.

And that doesn't include the:

'A 12.5% Buyer's Premium applies to this lot.'

This amounts to another nearly $6,000.00 on top of the winning bid.

maybe they have a better deal on the scrap price dealing direct with a smelter ? or plan on sorting to sell in lots ?
thats a lot of brass to sort

I did extensive research on this a few years ago, because it made NO sense to pay that much for brass. What I found is that some key company was buying all of it up to make keys! I read that the brass "mix" in ammo is nearly perfect for the key company that was buying it.


I assume that is still the case.
