So if you had an auction with a BIN of $500 and a reserve spitting distance from it, and after three straight run-throughs of the same gun never getting a bit higher than $230, wouldn't you take the hint?

Sometimes it seems like some folks are here to sell guns and other folks are here for the once-in-a-lifetime sucker.

That's the problem with reserve auctions IMO. I know that some people like them, but as an adult who wants to buy a gun, I'm not into playing guessing games on it. Tell me how much you want for it, and I'll either say yes or no, or make you an offer. Go down to your local car lot and see what happens when the sales person won't tell you the price, but makes you offer until you get it...

I've seen the same used guns listed for months. I don't write dates down but some have to be over a year. No sale and no change in price. Just taking up space with no real attempt to sell the product.
