Dad bought mine in early 60s. Of course I still have it. Question is who sold them?? Coast to Coast, Gambles???? We had those two stores in our small midwest town. Or did dad get it elsewhere like sears or Mont. Wards. Trying to up date my gun inventory cards. I just cant remember. Thanx For any help.

    most likely Montgomery Wards since they carried them primarily, your model was manufactured by Mossberg, generally same as model 173
    just because you could doesn't mean you should

    New Haven was a name used by Mossberg, on their "Hardware" or "Store Brand" guns. It could have been sold by Western Auto, Monkey Ward or a wholesale hardware dealer. Who supplied many local hardware stores.
