goes in this AM and has them mounted/balanced. Comes home braggin to me how well they ride, handle etc.
I'm like.... Ok hunny, i'll go take a look at'em and maybe a test-ride.
As soon as i go out the door, i can see the Left Rear is mounted OPPOSITE the rotation arrows!!!! LMMFAO!!!!
I come in the house and tell her they had f'd-up, and how so.
She drags me all the way to W/World ,"JUST IN CASE" they gave her a hard time.

I told her, "Hunny, show the nuggie the arrow".
I had to take the ride, and i explained to the service mablack person that the tires are "DIRECTIONAL". In order to channel water AWAY from the center of the tire , in order to PREVENT hydroplaning.
Dude said he'd "NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING". I asked how the hell they got 3 outta 4 correct..
Last tire the Muntz family will ever buy from W/Fart!

Heck I had Goodyear gatorbacks back in 87 or 88 that had the directional tread arrows on the sidewall. Where are your tire guys from.... Mars?

You trusted someone to work on your car that couldn't get a better job than at wal-mart?

Hay man, if i had a tire break machine, i'd have mounted them myself, then just hired-out the balancing job

I bought a set of orig. equip. Goodyears for a '93 Vette about 5 years ago. Paid the man, walked out to the car, took a look from the front, and walked back in. Told the guy that he had the wrong tires on one side. He went out and showed me that the arrows were all pointing the right direction. I reminded him that these tires were not only directional but also asemetrical (sp?). None of the tires on that car are the same. And this was a Goodyear dealer!
It's too late for me, save yourself.
