At 1:44AM eastern time the * was tricked

The * made the new trap door clang, awakening me from a sound slumber at that time. I went out after confirming from the window that SOMETHING was in the trap. It was a big boar *. He died from lead poisoning.

This morning while letting out the chickens I noticed he got both marshmallows out of the hand traps with out tripping them. Lord knows hot he did it with out triggering the trap. The trail of marshmallows leading to the interior of my new trap did him in. By the way he was acting when I got there another 20 minutes and he would have gotten out of the new trap too. He had already scooted it about 2 feet across the ground and was working on the trip plate.

    What causes a * to be hanging in a tree? Seen 3 and unless someone shot them and in falling caught a leg on a limb, can't figure it out! Clumsy maybe[?]

    I have the arm traps set with marshmallows pushed under the trigger so they have to trip it to get the treat. I am still on watch for his cousins. This was a big boar with the most brownish fur I ever saw on a *. Lord knows they stink to high heaven too.

    Except my brother had the same problem. Lost all his chickens, about 12. He is as docile as a friendly dog, but when they got his chickens he was an animal. Really! trapped 10 and SHOT them all. He never kills animals, but

    Hog fence would not even slow them down, if they can get their head into a hole they can get their body in too! Even doubled up chicken wire will not stop them if they can get a good spot to leverage against the wire.
