Trying to find out where this carbine was shipped in from. No forign proof marks that I can see. Has 0188 stamped on mag tube under forearm. Was imported by Centry Arms in Vermont and sold by them in 1982. The carbine was reblued but is all original, barrel is clean and shines operation is flawless. No records at Cody or Centry Arms. Please help if you have any info. Regards,puma421 Serial # 829074

Model 1892 serial number 829074 was serialized on June 30th, 1917. It most likely was received in the warehouse as a completed gun in July of 1917.

It most likely came back into the U.S. from Australia or South America. If Centry Arms has no records, you are out of luck in that regard.
