Hi guys!
I just ordered a Zastava M70 pistol rated as "Fair". Do any of you guys have any experience with buying something like that? Did I just step in some poo? Or am I in for a treat?
(FAIR): Very little if any blue remaining. Rough bores unless otherwise indicated wood heavily marred. May require adjustment or replacement of parts. Metal can be pitted.
What can I expect?

a bad nights sleep🤣
Depends, I undergrade my items just for that reason and for some reason SOME people still want an adjustment or something else. Saying their crooks gives crooks a bad name. Maybe you will luck out, best wishes for you.
There is a great truth in life - most of the time you get what you pay for. If you go into the transaction with that attitude, you shouldn't be disappointed. Personally, unless I was looking for a project gun, I would stay away from anything rated fair. Good luck and maybe you will be pleasantly surprised. Bob
I know for sure that I am at least looking at bluing or otherwise finishing the gun. Hopefully that will be it. I will keep you guys posted.
Fair means poor. Sorry, just saying opinions are just that. Everyone grades their's better
I have never bought a gun sight-unseen. Pictures are required. I don't like surprises.
How'd this turn out @7.62x39Lover ?
two words comes to mind. Wall hanger.
Post up some pictures of it when you get it, and as you proceed to refinish it. Will it be a new gun? No. Will it shoot really good? Probably not. Was the fun and enjoyment of doing a refinish worth it? Heck yeah.
good luck
let us know how it turns out
I am also curious.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
