So my weekend is set. Got the bits to make my beef curry. Since the beef bones will need a while to simmer the 30 pack of PBR will be used to time this. I'll also whip out "Blue Velvet" and it's been a good long time since I watched Dennis Hopper speak the merits of PBR over Heineken it will be nostalgic. I wonder what David Lynch is up to these days? I should check IMDB.

I haven't bought much beer over the last 10 years or so. I did buy a half rack of PBR last summer and just recently polished 'er off, so I bought another.
I made the mistake of buying some microbrewery scrap that will sit in the fridge forever. I like PBR or Yuengling not the hoppy bitter crap.
I don't like the hoppy bitter beers either. There are some micros I like, but I approach untried ones with caution. I go for lagers, pilsners (sp?), and some ales. NO porters or stouts or any of that coffee colored stuff.
I don't want you drinking and posting.
You get a promote for that!!!!

Now drinking and bidding on the auction side could be an issue……..So I've been told.
Well, after some comments here, I may be gone for a while.

I would if they had those here. Now if they were bottles and I had a shelf on the wall.
Red necks…..White socks…..And blue ribbon bear……Wait, what??
Not sure I ever had a PBR IPA YESSSSSSSSS
As I've grown older and more refined, well older anyway, I can't stomach PBR. What little beer I drink is Modelo, Dos Equis, or most likely an amber like Killians Irish Red. I usually stay away from yuppie micro brewery stuff except for Red Jacket Ale made by the Keweenaw Brewing company up in da Yoopee. Smooth, refreshing and no nasty lingering bitter hops aftertaste. One of my uncles was the biggest PBR fan I ever known
Maybe because is was less expensive I don't know for sure but he seldom did not have a can of PBR in his hand
RIP uncle Tom you are missed
He got me hooked on cars and drag racing and working on cars big time.
Lot of great memories of him, but i never had the love of beer he did
Clamato, PBR with a splash of Bloody Mary mix mmm… smooth.
Fell asleep while cooking the curry. A bit on the bottom got burnt but as long as I don't dig deep the char remained undisturbed.
As for the IPA being strong I used to mix 50/50 with the cheap stuff.
