I pulled the game camera in front of my house to charge the batteries when Yogi came to visit. Is there a way to measure the stride or prints to guestimate size?
Jim D, you could have been sitting on the porch…….

From the net ,,,,,
To estimate a bear's size from its tracks, you can measure the width of the front paw pad and add one to it. For example, a track that's four inches wide would indicate a bear with a square of five feet. However, this method can be less accurate for larger bears
Did you put out a pikinik basket?
Bubu may follow along.
I would guess about 300 lbs. Had he been down at the lake?
It went down into a gully that leads to the lake but I'm thinking it may have gone up the other side. That property has several old single wide trailers it could den-up underneath. I'm not curious enough to go looking.
