i remember going to vegas and staying at the Bali Hai Motel about a block east of the strip....owned by Howard Hughes.....many of the older casinos are gone now..... gettin there we actually got to drive across Hoover DAM.....looking over the west side down that looooooog slope was scary and going thru the insides was awesome with all the halls and rooms decorated with art deco tile.....Cottonwood Resort downstream from the dam was a gem of green water and trees, grass and plants in a desert of barren rock...Vegas was interesting and we went to 4-5 shows and museums and other points but never had any desire to go back

Nope! I am not telling any fibs with my statement. Old Mrs. Kuntz (the 100 year old daughter's mom) once caught me pee'ing in her creek when I was about 4 or 5 years old! The shock of being spied upon doing natures call burnt a lasting memory that I will take to my grave!

I once won a bet, but was unable to collect it from George Armstrong Custer. It had to do with the possibilities of building a resort out in the Montana frontier. A beautiful place called the Little Big Horn. George said he could negotiate with the land owners.
