Last night I bid on a lasermax internal sight for my glock 22 and this morning it is not listed and my auctions doesnt show I bid on it at all. Any Ideas as to what may have happened? Sense it isn't showing up am I safe to bid on another one?

That doesn't compute. If the seller ended early, you should have still been notified as high bidder, if indeed you were the high bidder. Maybe there was a higher bidder, unbeknownst to you, and then the seller ended early. You would never have heard.

I think ending early is a bad practice. It fosters ill will with buyers, and may result in the item for selling much less than it would have if the auction was let run.

I sometimes get requests from buyers to end early and sell now, but I generally refuse, unless there is only ONE bidder, and I am satisfied with the minimum bid.

So is it safe to bid on another one and not have to worry about getting charged for two.

You should be able to pull up the sellers history of listings....whether he cancelled it or not, if you remember the name. That will show what happened. LTS

I decided to get one from a different seller, I ordered it over the phone and they said it will be here in 5 to seven days. I only wish I hadn't bid and won the grip plug from the idiot. He has the same lasermax sight listed on ebay for $265.00 and thats what I bid on his here on GB.

I have bought several items/guns here on GunBroker, but have never put an item up for auction. Is it possible for a seller to end an auction early if they do not think they are going to get the price they expected, and they did not have the item listed with a reserve price?

I believe that is what happened airborn but am not sure. I have made a mental note and will never do buisness with the guy in the future.

I was getting ready to bid on a mold last night that was going to end today, and lo and behold, all of the sudden its not over until the 30th?? I know for absolute sure that that auction was ending today, how in the heck do you just extend the ending date like that?

The guy e-mailed me and told me I was outbid, seems to me that GB should have done that if it were true.

Was watching a Colt mustang not long ago and it was up to $450.00 and had two and a half days to go. checked next day and it was gone. No buy now or any thing was on it. Don't know what happened.
