found a bargain today at the local gun bonanza--hk4 .380 only has 1 clip but is very thin and light--anyone have any specs on this gun? thanks sm[:o)][:o)]

    specs? exactly what are you wanting to know?

    I have one I picked up for $225 a couple years ago ... I've heard rumors the 380 cartrige will crack the frame ... mine was well used when I got it, and I've ran quite a few rounds through it too ... no cracks yet so I don't know if there's any truth to that or not ... if it does, HK won't do anything about it since I'm not the original owner and besides ... its long out of production.

    The firing pins are a weak spot and a source of trouble and seem unavailable from most common sources. I've owned a few of these HK-4 pistols and they are simply an updated version of the older Mauser HSc offered in various calibers or with conversion kits available to change calibers at will. These were good little pistols, but not exceptional in my own opinion.

    I wish I had bought one, back when they were cheap and you could get one gun in four calibers.
