Adding Links to other sites

Just a short rant. If "For Sale" or "Trade" items are not allowed on the site, why are links to other sites that sell guns, ammunition and other items allowed? Doesn't this take away from the potential revenue of Gunbroker? If this is allowed why can't I just say that my brother has a pre-64 Winchester for sale or trade. Give him a call at BR-549 and ask for Junior. If this is inappropriate please remove it. I would just like to know. Not complaining about anyone in particular.

    The moderators do not, and cannot, monitor every post. If you see a post with a link to a competing site, please send the link to me or another moderator and we will take a look.

    I have removed links from posts and from signature lines when I found them, and will continue to do so.

    Just because we miss a few doesn't mean they are allowed.
