I just call up Continental Air. I usually get a great deal without hunting around.

    Try this: www.orbitz.com
If you can't fix it with a hammer, take it to a mechanic. will270win@aol.com ~Secret Select Society Of Suave Stylish Smoking Jackets~

We recently purchased tickets from Seattle to San Diego, we tried the priceline and they offered a price way above the level of sanity and reason. They must not have liked our initial offer. We searched the web and found that Alaska had a decent price (much better than that Priceline BS, and that had 3 stops). My advice: avoid priceline, we didn't have good results with orbitz either, but it wasn't so bad as the priceline.Good luck

I've always had luck at airports. Can't offer any first hand knowledge. Never had to buy one. Retired from UAL so I pay nothing.(Sorry, just thought I'd flaunt it.) Friends have had good luck on priceline.Mudge the shameless

Need to go to Germany late spring with a round robin return if possible via Paris, Austria and London. Priceline sukked last I tried it. Any ideas on cheapo tickets?

I always get the best price by going through travel agents.

www.travelocity.com I needed an airline ticket and found these folks had it cheaper than anyone. Then, after I bought it, just for grins, I searched for the same ticket at www.priceline.com and bid the exact amount I paid on travelocity. I got a message back that said I had less than a 60% chance of getting the ticket at that price and that I should raise my bid or change the departure dates. If your time is worth anything to you, use travelocity and be done with it.ONE EXCEPTION: If the ticket can be had from Southwest Airlines, buy it from your local travel agent. Southwest is the best in the business, with bargain rates.
