Nunn - Sig short trigger question?

Nunn, can you elaborate on a Sig "short trigger". Does it have a shorter travel or physical length? Travel, I'm sure, but is it a simple add-on or should the gun be ordered with this feature. I'm about to get a Sig 226 and would like input. Is there any way to physically look at a trigger or otherwise measure the travel in order to tell the difference?

Many thanks!!

The short trigger is just a replacement trigger that is not as fat as the standard trigger. I think you can have it on a new gun, and I know you can get it as a replacement. All it does is reduce the distance from backstrap to trigger face.
