You can't just get a pig and make only one post about it. Need to hear some updates. Post up a picture or two.

Thank you again for your help on the SIG 226. We got the slide stripped down tonight. Got the breech block out without any springs or parts going boing. The firing pin bore was pretty dirty all down the side walls, but was really built up at the inside face/stop.
Removed the extractor and was surprised how dirty the groove in the breech block under it was. Got everything cleaned up with Hoppes and using a set of brushes from (member/seller) Mercury. Wiped it all down with a light coat of Remoil and reassembled. Those new roll pins are some tight fitters man, which is good. Did function check of firing pin safety block and it works smoothly. Reassembled gun and did fuction check using 'snap caps'. All works great. Reloaded gun and returned to service. Did use Denise for a second set of hands, but hey,it's her gun.[;)][;)] We both learned and mission accomplished. Pretty happy about it. Thank you,Nunn !!

    You're welcome.

It was as easy as photographing some pages out of the manual and posting them.

Glad you got it cleaned up.
