Contrary to what some believe, helping people is why most cops do what they do.
The education system and the politicians and all government entities in between have brainwashed the citizens that they must have government help to get or do anything.
Remember you can't get a job unless you go to the unemployment office.
You can't get unemployment insurance unless you apply at a government office.
You can't get a drivers license unless you go to a government office.
You can't vote unless you resigster at a government office.

I agree they acted like idiots, but you've jumped to a conclusion on this one.
They're both recent Vietnamese immigrants.
