I bought a new in box SIG P239 in .357SIG yesterday for CC.I went to my land after work to shoot a few. After only like 75 rounds it stovpiped on me,then on about 110 it didnt eject a round, then on about 225 it ejected a round and it hit me so hard in the forehead that it welted it it didnt eject to the side it came right back at me.I was shooting Speer Gold Dot 125 grain.I spent a good bit of money on this pistol and expect it to perform better. Is something wrong or am I expecting to much? Will it maybe work itself out after a few hundred more?I am considering taking it back and dont want to return it till I get some opinions. The Makarov performed flawlessly. This is my first SIG and I have always heard good things about them is this comon to this model or what? Thanks for any help.

We bought 50 of them for the PD. They have been absolutely reliable, even when new. Only one had to be sent back, and it didn't really need it. It was just issued to a very picky and whiney officer, and it would sometimes fail to go into battery when it was hand cycled slowly. Allowed to work as intended it was fine.
Call SIG and arrange to sent it in for an overhaul.
