David, do you know if the Sig p228 is being discontinued?

    This is my understanding, and it could be wrong. The 228 and 229 are visually identical. The 228 came first and was in 9mm. Then came the 229 in .40 and .357. Then the 229 was also made in 9mm. Since the 229 in 9mm is basically the same as a 228, there is no more 228. I am not a SIG historian, so if I err, someone please correct me.
