CANCELED....5 th of May...

Rumors circulated that the INF would hit the party...and lead the barbarians out by the truck-load...
Wht a pity.

As in our OWN 4 of July celebration of "Freedom"...one wonders what freedom the Mexicans celebrate, anyway...
Neal Boortz and I don't agree on much...but he gives an EXCELLENT discourse on the Fourth of July..as masses of people mouth the words of freedom..while happily serving their masters.

Cinco De Mayo is not a major holiday in Old Mexico, but here in the USA it, like St. Patricks Day, it makes a great excuse to have a big party and get drunk [:D]! Mexican Indepence Day is actually 16 September (although their holiday starts the day before). My neighbor down the block is an electrical contractor of Mexican heritage and I go over to his house (which has fabulous lighting inside and out I might add) every 5th of May for a big party. I hope his wife makes those beef tacos again [:p] Viva Mexico!

Since when do Mexicans need an excuse to have a party?

    "Hey, it's Tuesday!"
