    I printed the page with directions and phone numbers. Mama the trip-planner said we would be more likely to stop on the way back that on the way out. That would be somewhere around the 3rd, 4th, or maybe the 5th of August.

    I will call you when we get close. It would be a privelege to meet you in person.

    PS: I won't be bringing the Thompson. Carrying it off on vacation might be hard to explain. Man, I do wish I had bought one of the new Auto-Ordnance Thompsons back when they were still making them.

    nunn, If you are coming through central AR on August 3 & 4 you should consider stopping by the gun show at Hot Springs. It is sponsored by the local Lions Club and will probably be about 200 tables. Admission is only $4. I will have a table there as I like to support the Lions Club.     We will see. I haven't been to Hot Springs in a while.

    That trip was an adventure. Nice hotel, bath, massage, the works.

    I was relaxing peacefully in my whirlpool, about to doze off, when the curtain shot open. Standing there was a HUGE black man, dressed smartly in all white. I said, "What do you want?"

    He said, "I am here to bathe you."

    That was interesting.

    Herschel is probably a relative. Way back. By marriage. Great-aunt married a Garner, and they are from that area.
