Sorry, looks like I missed some stuff. Took a long weekend and drove up to Devil's Den State Park with the wife and two younger boys. Had a great time. Crawled through some caves. Beautiful country, even if it isn't in Texas.PS: The Silverado got 20.5 mpg.

    Hey,we were there this weekend.It is only 50 minutes from my house.Did you hike the trails?Any bears or elk?They are mainly around the river trail.Always gobs of deer and turkeys.This is beautiful country.I love it here.cpermd[This message has been edited by cpermd (edited 10-03-2001).]

    Nunn: We live about 40 minutes from Devil'sDen state park. I have been through the caves with my sons. Very nice place. Did you make it to the lookout point where you walk into a little shelter on the edge of a cliff and can see the forrest waaaaay below you and in front of you? OBTW, that pond is cool with the waterfall, isn't it?Bruce

    We were going up to Yellow Rock, but had to start home. We would go back for several days.Thinking of going in January, when we can get a free day's rental on a cabin when we buy two days. MLK day makes us a 3 day weekend.

    Glad you enjoyed it. The cabins are really neat, especially if you look for an isolated one deep in the trees!

    What part of the state is this place in?One of my brothers lives near MT.Home.Only see him every 10 years or so,for funerals and such.
    Will the last reb to leave flarda,please bring the flag?
