Glock .40 to .357sig

I converted my Glock 27 from .40 to the new .357sig today and went to the range. I was impressed with the lighter recoil and the harder hits with the new setup. No hang ups or jams. Just had to purchase drop in barrel and new magazines.Keep on Glocking.

    Why new magazines? In the SIG pistols, the .40 and the .357 in any given model use the same mag.

    Dave: I got the .357 magazines on the advise of a Glock armorer to keep my ammo straight.When I carry it as a .357, I know that I must use the .357 magazines. Old age is hell..... Charlie

    As you have discovered, the .357 Sig round rules. I have been saying this for about 4 years now. Most people think it is going to have hefty recoil, but is one of the most controlable rounds I have ever fired. Boomer

    I was under the impression the 40 mags were interchangable with the 357.

    I gotta get me a .357 barrel for my SIG P229 and try it out.
