Joe, the Ruger 10-22 is not the most popular if you base it on numbers sold. The Marlin model 60 is...... Number built over 11 million, 1960 - present
Ruger Produced 1964-present
Number built over 5 million

I'd like to see your milling machine Joe. Post a pic of it.
As for 22s, I have a Browning semi-auto that is a great shooter. It also belonged to my great-grandfather. My 10/22 is just a fun gun. I customized it the way I wanted it and I have no problem slinging it over my shoulder and going on a hike. I'm not worried about it getting scratched or dinged. It is a work horse.
Forget the mill... I wanna see that Lazer (sic)... [:p]

I always check them, and if they have an Bentzx Chamber and need work
then I do not want them, and Return them to the Maker. If I had a Fluteing Machine than I would just buy in Bulk and Make My own.
Joe,
Will you please explain to us exactly how, and with what tools, you "check" the chambers?
Do you check for chamber/barrel concentricity? If so, how and with what tools?
Do you measure chamber diameter? If so, how and with what tools?
Do you measure chamber depth? If so, how and with what tools?
Do you measure the lead angle on the rifling? If so, how and with what tools?
Is the bore of the barrel lapped?
What is the radius of the hammer contact area of the bolt before and after you enlarge it?
How do you adjust the headspace?
How do you adjust the firing pin protrusion?
What is the angle of the chamfer at the top of the charging handle slot?
What size hole do you drill or bore in the bolt for the 3/32" dowel?
How do you checker the bolt?
Is the bolt hardened, and if so is it case hardened?
What is a Fluteing Machine?
Why and how do you polish the ejector plunger?
How do you pin the top of the firing pin when the stop pin goes in sideways?
And last but not least, is it for sale or is it for your great-grandson?
It can't be both...

The man told you guys a couple of times it was his bad pictures but you holier than thou types just won't let it go. You find someone you think is weaker than you and just keep ragging him. Typical school yard bullies. I really feel sorry for people like you. You want to see a picture of his milling machine? Why? What will that prove? Also why should he show you a picture. If I was him I would tell you to go to hell. 99.9% of you can't even begin to afford one of his guns any way.

It looks like the OP tried to enhance the image created by the laser, or am I wrong?
Is Ruger selling them like this?
It looks like the OP tried to enhance the image created by the laser, or am I wrong?
By using a portable LP torch?
Look closely... It seems to me to be charred...

No, I totally agree/it looks like it's been in a fire. But, you know, it can be a bit tricky dancing around the issue, and using language, carefully.

That stock is horrendous.
Looks like I would get charcoal all over everything.
Like a $59 pawn shop gun.

He was referring to the people who use the forums to bash a GunBroker user and/or his items for sale.
I really don't want to lock anyone out, but it it not my site.
In other words, as stated before: If you don't like a person's offerings, don't bid, but you may not bash it or him here.
