    No forgetting here. I still remember the Alamo, and Goliad. And the Confederacy. And Pearl Harbor. There are some things we should not forget.

    Pearl Harbor. My dad remembered that one until he died. He fought in the Pacific Theater until 1943 and was discharged for a heart condition. He hated anything Japanese. When I was 19 with no credit, I asked Dad to co-sign a note so I could buy a new Datsun pickup. He refused and advised me to go to the Ford dealer.
