    There's not much sense in discussing a topic if you're going to delete every other post a member makes, a few of my posts maybe, but you've deleted most of the arguement. You've even deleted my LEO encounter which explains most of my problem with LEO's. If you can't discuss LEO's, or be professional about it, I suggest you don't start topics about them-Ralph

    Chuck from Washington state can't get GB to accept his pass word. He is the 74 year old gentleman that fell from the ladder and broke his neck. He called me today and he don't know what to do. Can you help? He is one of the good ones.

    Don't know bout your's but I has done found that most folks what has a problem during a police 'encounter' bring the problem on themself.

    greetings, rebj' looks like a free discussion is like the proverbial free lunch... sad cause if we can't rationally debate the hard issues the rest of this is rather pointless. this is like getting sda's to talk about the minniapolis 1888 general conference, it ain't gonna happen. so what do you think of censorship. if words are signs or symbols that convey a meaning between people, why are certain words exiled from polite conversation while others that convey the same or simuliar meaning included? example- poo poo = excretement therefore included; shi (well you get my drift) =excretement therfore excluded. seem a bit hypocritical if you take it to its logical extreme. and that is my point censorship is not logical no matter how much ethos you try to apply to it. now the mainest point is this there are those that only want the bill of right to apply where they think it should. back when we were just a colony of the british empire there used to be an office called the town cryer, his duties where to cry out the town business and take care of the public bulleten post. if he found something offensive on the post he could remove it (that is censor), and if he caught the hapless fellow he could administer corporel punishment. usually in the form of a lash or two, but could be stocks or jail, and it all depended on the sensiblities of the cryer and whether he was fast enough to catch 'em. you can see that this sort of system gave way to certain types of abuse, example; if the cryer didn't like you he would refuse your post (that is censor), if he was of a different religious faith he could refuse your post, etc. this method is still used in amish communities today and is one form of what is called shunning or censorship. any way after about a hundred years of abuse fastforward to the delegate at a convention in philly to amend the articals of a new country held together by juridictions that still allowed such treatment that the sojourner going from one colony to another might find himself at varience with the powers that be simply because of his utterences or who he associated with. and it was with these abuses still ringing in their ears that these men wrote these words"CONGRESS SHALL NOT..." well you can read the rest in the first ten rules for living civilized called the bill of RIGHTS. respt submitted dads-freehold

    nunn is just one of us, who happens to have the moderator job. I'm sure he learns as he goes along too. You can't expect to post a topic with an inflammatory name that says something like "To cop haters -- and there are some here" and expect to have an ice cream social. On the other hand, I thought the opinions stopped short of name calling, so that was probably not a thread that really needed deleting, unless I missed something.

    But Nunn, I was wearing my blaze orange cap, one thing- yes, maybe I was in a mood, but at least I EXPRESSED an OPINION, At lease I didn't sit here and harass a fellow member ( that would be against the rules), maybe if'n I had, my posts wouldn't have poofed.
