Un-guns

Having read some previous threads on the "paper trail" left by many gun purchases, and the inherent danger of confiscation by use of these records, I'm beginning to think seriously about acquiring a gun or two on the floor of the gun show where only gun & cash change hands. In fact, the guy who offered me that exceptional CETME mentioned the "no papers" advantage, and at the time it went over my head -- now I'm having second thoughts, bigtime. I have a feeling those of us who take this potential problem seriously had better make some hay while the sun shines. I'm going to watch much more closely at what my fellow consumers are carrying at the next show, and ask a lot more questions of those who have something of interest. I'm also going to watch my classifieds, as transfers are apparently still optional in our state.

offeror,If you ever bought a gun "On Paper" you've already made the list, no sence in worrying about it now!If you want to put one away, somewhere under the backyard or simular, just do it! If anyone ever asks about it ... you sold it to some guy at a gunshow! The nice thing about this is that you know it has never been used to commit a crime, because you bought it new!
